Ryu Ga Yeon (b. 1969, South Korea) is a Korean abstract artist  

whose work explores the essence of existence, life force, silence, and the edges of chaos.

 

She began her artistic journey at the age of 45,  

after years shaped by silence, pain, and inner tremors.  

Through that process, she discovered art as a true language—  

a medium that could express what words could not contain.

 

She uses knives, chisels, needles, pens, and other tools  

to deconstruct form and reveal raw emotion.  

Her work incorporates oil painting, oil sticks, markers,  

and various pens through mixed media techniques.

 

This journey is a quiet but profound walk between the inner self and the universe.

류가연(Ryu Ga Yeon, 1969년생)은 대한민국에서 태어난 추상작가입니다.  

존재의 본질과 생명력, 침묵과 혼돈의 경계를 감각적으로 포착하는 작업을 이어오고 있습니다.

 

45세에 본격적으로 예술에 입문한 그녀는  

자신의 삶 전체를 뒤흔든 침묵과 고통, 그리고 내면의 진동 속에서  

비로소 진정한 언어로서의 예술을 발견했습니다.

 

그녀는 나이프, 끌, 침, 펜 등의 도구를 사용하여  

형태를 해체하고 감정을 가감 없이 드러냅니다.  

그녀의 작업은 오일페인팅과 오일스틱, 마커, 각종 펜 등을 이용한 혼합기법으로 표현됩니다.

 

이 여정은 내면과 우주 사이를 예술로 걷는, 고요하지만 깊은 고독의 여정입니다.
